This is my current build for Amara. Phasezerker can be exchanged for a Nimbus. Note my artifact is not very good, a pearl of ineffable knowledge would be better, I just personally love the slide speed of a Snowdrift.
Overall any gun works, as long as it's got some kind of splash damage. 300/90 is the preferred anointment for mobbing. Consecutive hits or next 2 mags elemental bonus are preferred for bossfights.(although in the video I forgot to swap my gun haha. the whole run was 300/90 including Wotan at the end.)
Grenade anoint can be 25% on throw or a 50% elemental bonus, doesn't really matter that much. Depends on your preference. Have fun with it and if you're on PlayStation and need help getting any of the gear, leave a comment and I'll be happy to help! :)
