Good height adjustment
I bought this to replace the monitor stand for the stand that came with a new monitor I had just bought. The stand that came with the monitor was too high, even at its lowest. Most monitors sit too high for me and others my age (bifocal age), as we have to have our chins up all the time to see the monitor through the lower portion of our progressive lenses and this is very hard on our necks (especially as we age). This monitor works well for this circumstance, as it goes quite low. The bottom of my 27" screen will go as low as 1-3/4" from the desktop (2" at a tilt), with top height from desk at 16". It will go as high as the bottom being 5-1/2" from desktop and top at 19-3/4". It also tilts and swivels. I am very pleased to have found this replacement at a reasonable price and good quality (though it's a shame most monitor stands aren't more adjustable).
