My fiance, Amber, is always surprising me. We all had the opportunity to try cooked larvae that lives inside of the heart of the Iron Palm tree. It was good, and tasted like bacon. Amber did the brave thing and ate a live one. Yes, it was squirming and moving and oozing the entire time.

This will definitely be a memorable time of our trip. I will remember Ecuador and the larvae forever
