An amazing cathedral which appears to have the gothic style. This is actually a more modern reproduction of the famous gothic cathedrals. This one was finished in 1988. This style is conveniently titled "neogothic". Not only is this known as the largest neogothic church in South, Central or North America, but it is still a fully functional Roman Catholic Church. We were lucky enough to have two local friends guide us around our first full day in Ecuador. The wooden walkway was a little bit wobbly, and it really made you realize the position that you are in.
