In this video we'll be discussing the AM4 motherboards, including the X370 AM4 motherboards further details since images of the AM4 socket pincounts and more info has leaked out. AM4 is the platform for both Zen's summit ridge, and bristol ridge and future AMD APU's and CPus.
AM4 will support up to USB3, 24 PCIe lanes, DDR4 3200 in dual channel and much more.
AMD's Mark Papermaster has also revealed that the upcoming HBM2 featuring Vega 10 graphics card from the company will have a 'significant' improvement in power consumption and efficiency over the current Polaris architecture found in the RX 480 and other such cards.
Vega 10 isn't expected to hit store shelves until the 1st half of 2017, leading many to wonder if we're going to see the GPu's face off against Nvidia's Volta, rather than Nvidia's current Pascal range of cards (such as the GTX 1070 and GTX 1080).
