Intel’s upcoming 12th generation Alder Lake-S Desktop Core i9-12900K just had a benchmark leak which shows it absolutely destroying the Ryzen 9 5950X despite only having 8 true X86 cores. If this leak turns out to be true then the 12900K is going to have a giant increase in single core performance and will be much faster than many of us were expecting. Plus you might actually be able to buy it!
