In this video we'll explore the official specifications of AMD's upcoming RX 470 and RX 460 graphics cards, the little brothers of the RX 480.
The RX 470 is still based on the Polaris 10 core (the same GPU core found inside the RX 480) but has fewer shaders at just 2048 and less memory at just 4GB.
The RX 460 is the esports GPU, and features 896 stream processors and just 2GB of memory, which should be sufficient for most esports played games such as Counter Strike or league of Legends.
AMD have also released an updated graphics card roadmap, which still shows Vega 10 being released in 2017, but has pointed out that it's a high end product for high end gamer's. Unfortunately no further info regarding Navi GPU architecture was announced.
For folks who want to buy the RX 470 or RX 460, you can expect to see them appearing on store shelves in the next few weeks to possibly a month, depending on availability and custom cooler designs.
