AMD Zen 2 Updates Appear In Linux Patch | Playstation 5 4K & 240HZ PSVR Capable?
660The AMD zen 2 micro architecture will debut next year in the AMD Rome series of server processors, before finding itself in numerous desktops in the ryzen 3000 series of cpus and amd's HEDT threadripper. According to the 4.21 linux patch, we see the introduction of AMD's QoS, the companies answer to Intel's RDT (Resource technology director) this will allow the optimization of the level 3 cache of the zen 2 cpu.
We also have michael pachter at it again, with his prediction that the upcoming PlayStation 5 system will be capable of running at up to 4k and 240hz if using PSVR.
