AMD has finally officially announced its Zen 4 CPUs, including a 16-core CPU buried in the footnotes. These are in the Ryzen 7000 desktop line and launch with X670, X670E, and B650.

AMD's Zen 4 CPUs are officially on the way. The release date for Ryzen 7000 CPUs is vaguely "Fall," and thus far, no hard names or prices have been announced -- but we do have chipsets, some early Zen 4 (AM5) motherboards, information on DDR5, PCIe Gen5, and AM4 coolers, and more. AMD also spent some time at Computex talking about SAS (Smart Access Storage), SAM (Smart Access Memory), Ryzen 6000 laptops, and other upcoming products.
