AMD's x86 Core Zen CPU | Announcement Details (Due 2016, DDR4 & AM4 Socket)
143Alright guys. With the recent news on AMD's Zen CPU coming in 2016, I thought it'd be a good oppurtunity to do a video on it and all the specifications for the CPU that we know thus far. In this video I go through all the legitmate sources and also touch on Intel Skylake CPUs to be a main competitor, AMD new GPUs and their 7000 Series that is scheduled for release later this year.
AMENDMENTS TO VIDEO:
@5:30 where i start to mention that the clock speeds are shared out between the cores. This is not the case and I do not know why I was compelled to say this at the time behind the camera.
I never mention that SMT is a "NEW TECHNOLOGY" however people in the comments seem to think so. AMD themselves have said it is a technology being used not a "new one".
