Amerime Junkies: Last of us show episode 1
The Amerime Junkies got together and talked about the first episode of Naughty Dog and HBO MAX'S The Last of US. and what could have caused the virus in the game? It was suggested that it might have something to do with bread and grain, as the characters were avoiding eating grain throughout the opening segments. In the first episode, it was revealed that the virus was caused by a spore, but the exact source of the spore was not revealed. After discussing the game, the conversation shifted to how in some towns, the bread people eat is not bread, but a bread substitute. It was suggested that this could be related to the virus in Demon Engine from an evolutionary standpoint.
The conversation is about the live-action adaptation of the video game Frame for Frame. The speakers mention the artists and bakers in densified neighborhoods who they believe are the real ones, due to their ability to charge $8 for a loaf of bread. They comment on how Naughty Dog did an amazing job of framing the shots in the game, so it made sense for the live-action adaptation to keep the same shots. They also give a shout-out to the young actress Claudia Newton, Sandy Newton's daughter, who was only on-screen for 15-20 minutes but owned every scene she was in.
The group of friends was discussing the hit show The Last of Us Part II and how it was so well done. They discussed how the development of the character of Ellie's daughter was done so well, and how their goal was to make the audience care for her. They then discussed how emotional the scene where Pedro Pascal and the female actress were was, and how it made the viewers feel the same emotions as the game. They then discussed how they wanted to see more of Joel's story, such as his adventures and how he became a badass in the post-apocalyptic world. They then discussed how they would like it to be done linearly so that better stories can be told.

Highlights
How about I say that in celebration? It's so open, you could go do your hopping and play whatever play style you want in the game. Might be different for you.
That is also one of my questions. So when Cyberpunk came out, which is also an amazing, adaptation, of the gameplay, of Star Rocket, other people got done watching Cyberpunk. They went to the game after watching this.
As of right now, all I see is this being two seasons of good television and as a black person. I'm still going to be yelling about my second season of Lovecraft Country.
And if you say after the first episode, he was talking about what they're adapting from game to series. The whole runaway scene that Joel Tommy had, was amazing.
But the other writer that's credited on the project is Neil Druckman, who wrote the video game, right? Yes, he wrote the video game. And he was working side by side on the TV show.
