Geek Report 1/28/2023
In this Geek Report, Corey Salt and Demon Engine discuss Doja Cat's interesting fashion choice at a premiere, where she looks like a character from Hellraiser. They then talk about Disney's decision to shut down Splash Mountain, which features characters from the controversial movie Song of the South. The movie is so racist that Disney has taken it out of circulation, but it still has an infamous song associated with it. They end the conversation with words of wisdom from Kevin Feige.
The conversation is about Splash Mountain, a popular ride at Disneyland, which is being remodeled in favor of Disney's first animated black princess, Princess and the Frog. The conversation then shifts to people selling bottled water from Splash Mountain on eBay, which is strange and even more bizarre when compared with Bella Delphine's bathwater. Finally, the conversation shifts to Fallout New Vegas, with the studio still wanting to make another Fallout game after Fallout 76's not-so-great reception. The speakers question if it could get any worse and if it will be an online game.
The conversation was about two upcoming releases in the gaming world: Fallout 76 and Hogwarts Legacy. The speaker expressed doubt about playing Fallout 76 after watching the game's poor reception. He then mentioned J.K. Rowling's anti-transgender views, and how it has caused controversy. He expressed sympathy for those who do not want to play the game because of Rowling's views. He also mentioned how some people are playing the game just to make the Alphabet Mafia mad. He then spoke about how cool it is to have black hairstyles and character creation in the game. He stated that he will be waiting for the game to come out before playing it. Finally, he spoke about the Xbox Developer Direct, which showed off Redfall and the release date of May 2.
In this conversation, two people are discussing the upcoming release of The Last of Us Part II on Xbox, which is speculated to be released on May 2. The two discuss the impact the Bo series had on the game's sales, and express excitement for the new game. They also express some doubts about the game being released on the speculated date, saying that they won't believe it until they see it. The conversation ends with one of them admitting to a bad habit. Overall, the conversation highlights the anticipation of the release, as well as the impact the television series had on the game's sales.

Highlights
Voice actors, if they plan to do voice match, fine. However, Karma, if they're not doing Voice Match and they think they're just going to change the voice of Brick and people are still going to want to tune in, I don't really see it.
One of the reasons people think that Rick and Morty will definitely survive with the departure of Justin Royaland is one of the overall themes of the show itself, which is nihilism.
And apparently this precedes the new DC leadership, at least according to James Gunn. Now, just because James Gunn is stepping in, I could have already seen these guys were on their way out, even though definitely when it comes to Doom Patrol, doom Patrol is something that would definitely be in James Gunn's wheelhouse.
I'm just also glad to hear Steven Spielberg stop hating on comic book movies because he was definitely part of the old Hater Society violent Night, which was surprisingly, surprisingly fun and really violent.
At the end of the day, the first season came off like a very long trailer to what the story was really going to be about. That's what set a lot of people off.
