Great music and graphics.

I really like this game, except for a few things, one being the size of the ship, it's TOO big for the level design. Another one is when trying to pass through some of the really narrow passages, there's only like 1-2 pixels of margin. It makes it worse or easier depending on what weapon you carry (yes, the weapon increases the size of the ship's collision area). Then there's the foreground vs the background. The foreground will insta-kill you if you touch it, and in many places it can be hard to tell them apart, thus you could easily fly into something you thought were part of the background.

So, all foreground details insta-kills you, and a lot of the enemy projectiles as well. It's just a few (usually the really small ones) that only removes one point of your shield instead.

Back to the ship size. I find it funny what they said about it in the manual:

"The Blastershuttle is a very small, but extremely agilely built Fighter with a single rocket propulsion. A single cannon only is the best basic equipment of this, especially by young pilots preferences, ship."

They show people standing next to it, and the cockpit is just tall enough so a person with a cut off/decapitated head could stand in it (doesn't make sense, I know, but it's an accurate description of it's height, IMO), which makes the quote from the manual pretty accurate, as it's pretty small, but not for this level design, especially not when carrying some of the bigger weapons.

According to the manual, the "E" symbol should make me able to charge my weapon up. Remembering that from time to time during the gameplay, I tried holding fire and releasing it to see what would happen, and nothing ever happened. After finishing the longplay, I went to back to check it out. Yeah, it works, and it's the same shot no matter what weapon you have. I thought it would look differently depending on what weapon you were using. Here's a picture http://imgur.com/gallery/AIqgp.

Some timestamp stuff:

01:29 - Passing through this narrow gap was so hard (for me at least), died many times, and it's one of the places where you have like 1-2 pixels of margin before you hit the wall and DIE.
01:40 - This weapon is the best one in the game I think. It has a wide range and goes through stuff so you can hit enemies behind walls and other obstacles. One problem though is it's the tallest of the weapons, making your ship hit box huge. I got so frustrated going through the narrow passages that I almost wanted to restart the game and only use the default gun so I'm as small as possible. But, as this is a longplay, I want to show as much as possible, so all the weapons and stuff.
02:28 - Lame placement of this weapon here, FORCING the player to lose the previous weapon. This part would also have rendered my above plan about only playing with the starter gun useless.
06:08 - I first went with the path below, but noticed it was blocked a bit to the right, so reloaded a saved state and went with the upper part instead, which was pretty much impossible to get through, so I let myself die there instead. I noticed right after the right path WAS the lower one, as the game fades out before I hit the obstacle if I keep to the far left.
06:35 - Easy to kill from the front, but I like to do it from behind (ye), just 'cause I could. Had to shoot the weapon from the front though.
11:35 - Yeah, I saw the 1UP, but didn't want it, being a badass! (not)
11:41 - I'm pretty sure this is a bug. Seems like the weapon sound replaces one of the instruments in the music on this level... sounds cool though :). It also does the same shortly in the beginning of the next level.
16:13 - My favorite 2 tunes are this boss tune and this main level's tune. I wanted the music to last longer, so I decided to try and kill the boss with just my spinning/rotating weapon, but couldn't reach all the thingies so had to start shooting.
19:54 - Let myself die here as it was the last boss and I wanted to show what happens when dying on a boss - bit different tune/jingle during the transition/restart.
21:58 - I like this text enter thingy. It has the standards of the "enter your name" mechanics/functions we are used to seeing in old games, but it's the first time I see I can actually press on a letter/space to move the typing-cursor-thingy there. Also a nice touch with the flags.
22:25 - Seems weird the text font is just one color. Maybe a bug/glitch? If not, weird decision by them then.

And here's the standard timestamps:

00:54 - Level 1
03:25 - Level 1 boss
03:48 - Level 2
06:20 - Level 2 boss
07:11 - Level 3
09:44 - Level 3 boss
10:29 - Level 4
13:01 - Level 4 boss
13:30 - Level 5
16:05 - Level 5 boss
17:00 - Level 6
19:33 - Level 6 boss
20:27 - Outro -
