18Amiga Racing Game - Leading Lap , Developed by Kellion and released by Black Legand in 1995. Is AGA only supporting A1200/A4000 and faster cpus.
CU Amiga also released Leading Lap SE which takes away a few samples and tracks to fit on one disk. It also included bug fixes (for which there are plenty in the video) , offered an A500 compatable version and offered an uprgade to the full version for a small fee. (ive not seen this full version)
WinUae was used to capture video, but unfortunatly couldnt go crazy with cpu sped (to smooth gameplay) as gfx just got wrecked. It does run fairly smooth an a real A1200 with fast 030 cpu though.
It looks and plays better then the awful Virtual Karting, but this game certaingly could have done with more polish/sounds/music. F1GP is a much better game and thats designed to play well on an A500. I guess VirtualF1 is the next good F1 game on Amiga but its dammned difficult to control.
