Amiga Misc [061] Samurai Showdown
Just recorded a bit from this game for the Amiga community over at EAB. I tried to record all moves, hope I didn't miss one.
What I've noticed:
* It's made in Amos
* The game is not finished as you can't play as the girl
* It's player vs player only, no CPU
* Player 1 and player 2 can't be the same character
* Doesn't matter what character player 1 or player 2 selects, Mis-Kun will always be on the left side and Tai-Saki on the right.
* Very slow fading for some reason, no matter what Amiga model or speed I emulated
* It says on the "options" screen that there should be music (there's even a music volume slider), but I couldn't get it to play + I didn't find any music files on the disk other than the intro one. So guess this part is unfinished too.
* A bit off collision detection, but no biggie
* The players (or maybe just one of them) were borrowed from Fist II (ZX Spectrum, the game also exist on the C64 I think)
A rather funny and odd 2 player fighting game, and I like it :)
Maybe there is a finished version out there I don't know of, but this was the only one I could find. -
