A quick demo used to illustrate how the Apollo-core 68080 AMMX implementation can handle real time 24 bit color texture manipulation much faster than 060 integer or floating point operations using less instructions. Shown here is a 640X400 24 bit texture resolution bitmap manipulated in real time at 90 fps as standard. It should be noted that the AMMX instructons occupy very little space on the FPGA.
