This series will be a blind playthrough and game design analysis of the game Amnesia - A Machine for Pigs. As the sequel to The Dark Descent, Machine for Pigs received considerably less favourable reviews, and I'm interested to find out why. Comparing the two Amnesia games will give us some useful insights into what makes a good horror game, and what makes a mediocre one.

Unfortunately, the game is quite dark, so mostly you'll be looking at black screens until we find a lantern.
