Amstrad CPC game: 3D Starstrike (1985 Realtime Games Software Ltd.)
A first person space flight arcade shooter where outsiders have attacked and invaded the earth. The Federation space command sends out new star-strike fighters to fight and destroy the outsider's main base which are converted into moons and hoping to use a fatal flaw in the outsider's design by making a direct hit at the center of the base leading to its destruction.
This game is very much like arcade version of star wars. The first phase is to approach the enemy's base where the outsider's space fighter must be destroyed. The second phase takes place on the surface of the base where enemy bunkers and turrets awaits. The third phase is a tretch run where gun turrets are on the side of the trench and catwalks blocking the way must be avoided. The last phase is where you are in the reactor room where the tow reactor pots must be hit to destroy the base. After destroying the base, the game begins with a new level and a new base with a higher difficulty.
Originally released in 1984 for the ZX Spectrum and later ported to the Amstrad CPC in 1985.
This game seems to be more difficult than the ZX Spectrum so I played as much and far as I can.
