An action game having grids of indestructible walls where you must place bombs to destroy the enemies known as the floaters. You are a player named Eric known as the Bomberman. The bombs goes off in a few seconds. You can even reveal hidden items (including treasure chests) to be collected for bonus points if the bombs destroys some of the walls. The floaters change their state indicating by their color. But careful when they turn red as they will follow you; but you can lure them into the bombs you placed to destroy them. Some of the levels make Bomberman automatically add bombs instead of manually.

The first game in the Bomberman series and the original one.

Re-released in 1984 as Eric and the Floaters

Note: The game seems to be endless. After 99 levels, the game restarts to the beginning indicated with various symbols.

Played on OpenMSX emulator using the reverse feature. What's nice about this feature is that if you ran into problems or made a mistake, you can go back to correct the errors that you make.
