Just got back from Kumoricon so it's time to close out the final mission of XCOM and stop the Advent forces once and for all! After which we'll start tinkering around with the interesting looking game A Hat in Time. Should be a good time! So hop on in, enjoy some shenanigans and let's get to gaming!

XCOM 2 is a turn-based tactics video game. The War of the Chosen expansion makes changes to XCOM 2's campaign structure and adds new enemies, new hero characters, modifiers, and more behaviors for characters. The expansion introduces a new set of enemy aliens called the Chosen, that the player will encounter multiple times throughout the campaign. Assassins, Hunters and Warlocks are the three distinct classes of alien that make up the Chosen. Assassins use stealth and are able to kidnap the player's soldiers directly from the battlefield. Hunters are alien-human hybrids that use long range rifles. Warlocks use psionic powers and can summon additional enemies during battle. The expansion also adds a neutrally-aligned zombie-like enemy type called the Lost, former humans that will attack both the ADVENT and XCOM in battle. Three new hero soldier classes—Reapers, Skirmishers and Templars—can be recruited by the player. Each hero has their a unique set of abilities and upgrades.

A Hat in Time is a platform game developed by Gears for Breakfast and published by Humble Bundle for macOS, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game was made using Unreal Engine 3 and funded through a Kickstarter campaign, which doubled its fundraising goals within its first two days. It is based on earlier 3D platformers for the Nintendo 64 and GameCube such as Super Mario 64, Banjo-Kazooie, and Super Mario Sunshine. The game was released for Microsoft Windows and macOS in October 2017 , and will be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One sometime later in 2017
