Hello everyone! More demos from the past Steam Next Fest. This is Return, a 2D pixel art soulslike that tries to build a story and atmosphere pretty similar to what you get in games like Hyper Light Drifter. Combat is stamina-based and there is a nice variety of enemies, but honestly I couldn't enjoy it. Like I say at the end, most of the time, the game felt boring and the few times where it didn't, it was annoying (like the first boss i fought). I really appreciate the frequent checkpoints, because running through mostly empty enviroments can be pretty tiresome. Maybe there is a reason for this, but I for me it just didn't make it.

I still think a lot of people would enjoy this kind of experience, but sadly it wasn't for me.
