Solasta: Crown of the Magister is an RPG brought out using the ruleset of D&D 5e. You choose either premade or created characters and embark on an epic journey!

We will be doing a review on the game and it's combat! Will this game be fun or does Solasta: Crown of the Magister fall flat?

Brief Transcript:

Solasta starts off by showcasing its similarities to the 5e ruleset of DND. Spells from the popular game such as Burning Hands and Sacred Flame make an appearance and the rules around them mimic the source material. When starting off you have the choice of either making your own adventurer or using a premade character.

Creating your own character at the this time is relatively simple with minimal choices. There are a couple of fames with a couple of hairstyles for appearance wise. You can modify your character with different races however don’t expect the full roster from DND. There are certain races notably missing such as the Kenku and Tabaxi. You are limited to more of a human aspect including dwarves and elves.

The second noticeable absence is the class selection. Currently, there are some noticeable missing classes such as Sorceror and Bard. This makes Charisma based characters useless to a degree. Unfortunately, have a group of 4 bards is not a possibility.
