In this part, we begin the most infamous Banjo-Kazooie game. We arrive in the hub world known as Showdown Town and meet the Lord of Games a.k.a. L.O.G. There are five main types of collectibles in the game: Notes, Jiggies, T. T. Trophies, Jinjo Tokens, and Mumbo Crates.

Notes are the games form of currency and are used to buy Parts and Blueprints from Humba as well as various other things. There are 900 in Showdown Town, and 200 in each Game World that we will be collecting. Notes are always in groups of 10, making it easy to tell if you have all of them in that section of the world. Bronze Notes are worth 1, Silver are worth 5, and Gold are worth 10.

Jiggies are the same as they've always been. After winning them from Challenges, we retrieve them from Jig-o-Vends and take them to the Jiggy Bank in the Main Square to store them and will unlock additional Acts in the Game Worlds we've opened.

T.T. Trophies are earned by beating Jiggy Challenges at the best possible tier (Bronze Tier = 10 Notes, Silver Tier = a Jiggy, and Gold Tier = a T.T. Trophy). We can exchange four of these Trophies to Trophy Thomas in exchange for a Jiggy.

Jinjo Tokens are awarded for completing Jinjo Challenges in the Game Worlds and the tokens are used in Jinjo Bingo for prizes such as Notes or rare vehicle parts.

Lastly, Mumbo Crates are scattered around Showdown Town and each contains set Vehicle Parts that we can use the increase our odds of winning the various challenges in the game. Each has it's own number and should not be confused with the number of crates I've collected so far.

Starting off in Showdown Town, we gather all of the Mumbo Crates and Notes we can get at the moment (any others require upgrades to our Trolley in the future). Afterwards, we get the Game Globe for the first world, Nutty Acres, and set it in it's plinth in the Main Square to unlock the world. Each world is split into 5 or 6 Acts which each look roughly the same, but with different Jiggy Challenges of ascending difficulty.
