An Unmitigated Trainwreck of a Metroid Dread Livestream Session
Warning: the following broadcast contains snark and bile, along with me being completely terrible at the game. Along with some hot take criticism and how much I'm much more biased towards the Game Boy Advance/Gamecube era. And why I don't believe in repetitive cheap trick insta-kills for franchises that historically don't have that as a staple, with those being shown on full display. Plus some pointed technical and design gripes. And an atrocity of audio balancing.
I'm going to die. A lot. Stupid Ice and Wave Emmys... well, surprisingly, NOT that often.
Gameplay stops at the three hour mark. The rest of the time is rambling.
Note to self: next time, check audio settings. I was a bit too obsessed with playing some alternate tracks, I completely forgot to just turn VLC down to quarter/half. (I wanted to half-assedly prove to myself Falcom music fits for science fiction installments. Though there were many other games that I could better test that theory on.) And kick the headset volume up on OBS (or kick chat audio up for everyone else). Stereo condensation sucks.
