When you end an interaction while the game is in the "Pause" state (which either happens while you are tabbed out or you press the num key) your left and right strafing keys get glitched and move you 90° more than they are supposed to.

You can abuse the glitched strafing and combine them with your forward movement key to multiply your movement speed.

Making any interaction (excluding stuff like opening doors) without ending it paused will cancel out the effects of the glitched strafing.

The game has a default key to speed up the whole game (including cutscenes), so if you percieve the usage of that key as legal, this glitch is not useful.
Not using the speed up key however, this would probably make a decent timesave over the curse of a full game run.
