Analogue Duo vs. Terraonion Super SD System 3 Pro : Which FPGA TurboGrafx-16 system is best for you?
Which is the best FPGA way to play PC-Engine and TurboGrafx-16?
The Analogue Duo FPGA based TurboGrafx Duo clone system went on pre-order last week and I am not going to get one. I have a real NEC PC-Engine CoreGrafx and a Super SD System 3 Pro by Terraonion.
The Analogue Duo is good if it helps more people discover the PC-Engine and TurboGrafx 16. Now don't get me wrong, the Analogue Duo is a pretty sweet FPGA modern alternative to original NEC PC-Engine hardware. It is not for me since I am currently into original hardware supplemented with FPGA optical drive replacements and other tech and I love my CRT TVs. When I got back into collecting original hardware I ordered a Super SD System 3 Pro instead and have zero regrets about it.
But for me I'm good with the real PC-Engine hardware that I have.
