Analysis - Why Navi May Use GDDR6 As AMD Consider It Over HBM2 | Epyc 64 Cores
AMD have spoken in an interview and confirmed they're considering using GDDR6 memory in place of HBM2 for their upcoming range of Navi based graphics cards. While this may be different for servers and small form factors (such as laptops) there is a very compelling argument to be made that GDDR6 is very competitive with HBM2, so lets look at why in this video.
