Nvidia's CEO, Jensen Huang has said that the next generation Geforce graphics cards, tentatively dubbed the GeForce GTX 1180 or GTX 2080 is not going to be for a long time from now. This is despite a myriad of rumors - including the fact that Nvidia have supposedly been waiting on GDDR6 and the fact they're discussing the next generation geforce graphics card - the gtx 11 / gtx 20 series at Hotchips 30.

Meanwhile in an unpopular move, Microsoft have bought GitHub for 7.5 billion US dollars. GitHub have millions of active users, including around 1000 from Microsoft themselves. GitHub have said that Microsoft's cloud technology and recently pledges to open source have allowed them to sell to the company, rather than seek either a partnership or for GitHub to get funding from an IPO.

Finally, Apple have announced IOS 12 features, including up to 40 percent performance advantages over IOS 11, and in addition numbers quality of life enhancements.
