69Anbernic RG-ARC Review First impression Anbernic ARC Anbernic has provided a first look at the RG ARC, which it intends to sell in Single OS and Dual OS variants as the RG ARC-D and RG ARC-S, respectively. Specs & Feels - Both models come with a 4-inch 4:3 640x480 screen which is perfect for the games it needs to run. The RK3566 does the job inside this scope. The ARC-S is more of a minimalist with 1GB RAM, while the ARC-D doubles up on that and adds some extra internal memory. The RAM increase really is more for Android to not feel sluggish. Theyโre not supercomputers, but hey, they get you playing, right?
As Retro Dodo notes, the RG ARC series resembles a Sega Saturn controller, with a small display sandwiched between a D-pad and six gamepad buttons. Unsurprisingly, both RG ARC models have two sets of shoulder buttons too, for emulating games that can take advantage of them. Elsewhere, the gaming handheld has two USB Type-C ports and a mini HDMI connection, as well as a MicroSD card reader.
