Ancient Particles | A Genshin Impact inspired track
A track I made by taking inspiration from the music that plays in domains in Genshin Impact. Hope you'll enjoy!
----------------------------------------
The goal was to create a track that could play in a Domain. To give some context, domains are mini dungeons in which you have to clear a couple of waves of monsters, and the tracks we can hear when going through them tend to strike a tight balance between chill and dynamic. When it comes to the lore, domains are ruins of an ancient advanced civilization (known as khaenri'ah), and I really wanted to portray that aspect in this track with subtle granular/glitchy effects on both the instruments and the percussions to give it a modern touch. Yu-peng Chen, Genshin's composer, also does that for some of his compositions ("Endless Echoes" for instance).
Anyway, hope you enjoyed :)
And if you play Genshin, please tell me if you think my track fits the vibe!
