Time to start clearing out the map.

As I mentioned briefly before, you have the potential to end this map in just a few turns and it's all due to one of the enemies, PH. He's not particularly damaging and extremely frail (but does have Miracle in his skill set), but he does drop a Warp staff upon his defeat. There's only been one other time this staff was possible to get...all the way back in chapter 10 in a house that gets destroyed turn 1.

Warp works similarly to Rescue, but with one big change...instead of pulling your designated target to you, you get to select where they're warped to. After two turns have passed where the fake egg on the throne is replaced by the real egglord, then said egglord runs off the throne, you can then warp Baudimon to the throne or close enough that he can walk up and seize it.

If you want to do this, Isabelle still has convoy access so you'll need her and someone with massive range. This sounds like a job for Aylanda with Starfall & Morganis in her inventory to use said staff.

Me though...I won't be doing that. I have Isabelle in the west along with Angelus, Zahri, and Varg. Extra turn granting means Isabelle gets to one round another enemy, Chel, and shut off a rather clever gimmick involving her and Zeldacrafter. She switches places with him every turn, making for a nasty surprise when you're expecting to tank a pirate, but instead get a girl planting Ashcleaver into your face.

Two other annoying enemies are in the south among others, Treatstar & Faolin. Both have status staves (Sleep for Treatstar, Berserk for Faolin). While Treatstar doesn't have a massive magic score for big range, Faolin does. It's not hard at all for him to berserk two thirds of the way across the map, meaning he'll love to berserk a green unit right before their attack phase. If he somehow berserks Shuusuke? Have fun with whomever he decides to Voidflare.

Purely due to Faolin, Angelus & Zahri do the dance & song train to the southeast where Aylanda, Crixus, and Darius are with Baudimon. There's a green unit down here and Faolin loves to target him if there's no other better targets. Aylanda has no problem reversing the ailment, but Angelus & Zahri enable her to do multiple tasks like healing & attacking. Once the status staves are done, killing all the boss enemies is easier to manage, but caution must be taken. They all have regalias and multiple skills, meaning it can be very easy for someone to die if you engage any of them carelessly.

After several turns of dealing with status trickery and the bosses advancing (and random Steel Knight reinforcements), the only constant is Klok refusing to truly die and returning at the start of the next turn after he's killed. There's some playing around with him until I can get Baudimon in range to seize and end this very bad dream.

Final video next time!
