Thank you google, the AI Brightness is a mess. I would love to set a minimum, maximum and middle (or a graph/gamma), and including a hysteresis of five or more seconds before going dark. But no, you have to "Train the AI" what? This means: You constantly have to adjust your brightness and hope the AI somehow learns what you want. Bit the AI is not very good at learning.
My Windows Phone does not have this weirdness - sadly Satya Nadella killed it right when it was perfect. We would have needed a third player in the smartphone OS market. But now we are stuck with a failing total dictatorship, aka Apple, or a failing total chaos, aka Android. Well, now you know my choice ;).
