Andy Samberg and Joe Trohman Join to Write a New Comic Book
10The Holy Roller is a new darkly comedic superhero comic book series co-written by comedian Andy Samberg and Fall Out Boy's Joe Trohman. The series follows a bowling ball-wielding vigilante who fights back against a Neo-Nazi invasion of his hometown.
The comic is described as a cross between Kingpin, Inglourious Basterds, and Batman. It is a timely story about a Jewish guy who takes on Neo-Nazis, and it is sure to appeal to fans of humor, action, and social commentary.
The Holy Roller #1 will feature variant covers by some of comics' top talent, including J.H. Williams III, Brett Parson, Keron Grant, Brian Level, Mike Hawthorne, and Rafael Albuquerque.
