27Anew The Distant Light is an upcoming, indie Metroidvania game - in development by Resonator Interactive. Today Im super excited that we'll be chatting with the extremely talented Jeff Spoonhower - co-founder of small indie team Resonator, and developer of Anew The Distant Light - one of my most anticipated indie games.
Jeff has had an incredible career in the games industry, working for many years as a AAA developer, contributing his talents on some of the biggest games out there. So it is extremely exciting to see him take all the experience he's amassed, and make the decision to 'go indie' where he can further expand on his own creative vision.
Anew The Distant Light is a game I have been extremely excited for, for a long while. Especially as a huge fan of Metroidvania games like Hollow Knight and Ori. Having played the demo of Anew, I can confirm it has a fantastic feel to it, and definitely feels like a game that fans of Metroidvanias, will absolutely love! ✨
