What happens when you spend the pearls to upgrade a Mighty Hat Set to the max level?

I upgraded the Samurai hat to two stars a long time ago and wasn't sure about spending the 350k pearls to max the set out. Had 500k+ pearls and since there is nothing to use them on I decided to max out the set to see what happens.
