The biggest change in the game is that we are no longer on earth, we are now in space. The interesting thing is that now there is no gravity and every bird I lunch no longer goes to the ground but goes in a straight line until it hits a certain meteor or planetoid. Around the planetoid are blue aura-gravitational fields in which gravity is moving in a circular direction around it.
In my opinion it is very interesting because it offer us many different ways to finish the level. Let's leave aside the gravitational field, again there 's hidden golden eggs that allow us to fall into the black hole and play an interesting bonus games then before.
Bonus offers us the opportunity to become more fun and earn some more points to increase highscore.
The game features 60 new levels (and even they will be added to the update for free) and 6 new birds.
The most common of the six is called Ca-Caw and it can travel between planets' gravity with ease.
Then there's the loudest one, suggestively called Ka-Boom. If you didn't guess it by now, this birdie goes boom when you touch it in flight.
The third new bird introduced by Rovio is Zzzt because it's very fast. This bird can pass through multiple obstacles with great speed. And it looks like Cyclops from "X-Men."
The funniest of the six is in fact made of three little birdies called Bip Bap Bop. They start as one but split in three when they're touched in mid-flight. They are especially good against ice.
Bash is the biggest of the group and it looks fat and lazy. It can slowly pass through bigger obstacles in the game, and seems to be the most powerful.
Last but not least, the mysterious ice bird that came out from the wormhole, chased by the alien ship. It looks exactly like an ice cube and is called Froshh. This one is good when you need to freeze something, like big walls that cannot be demolished otherwise. It makes a great combo when used with Bip Bap Bop.
Overall, the game is much better designed than any other from the Angry Birds series. It's way more complex, more fun, and it has a pretty good story behind. On top of that, Rovio promised that free regular updates would be available as well.
With brand new birds, brand new superpowers, and a whole galaxy to explore, the sky is no longer the limit!
