Angst is a first person shooter relased for DOS based computers in 1996. In this game the player controls Werner Mueller, working as a Sysop at the GIC Headqurters in Futura City. One night, heavy explosions wake him unpleasantly from his sleep. He steps outside to see what happened, only to find himself in the middle of a deadly fight...
This is a fucking disgrace for gaming, and easily the worst game featured in this channel's "Shitty Game Sundays". It is up there with Nerves of Steel in the shit-o-meter. The game only has 6 "levels", and I quoted it because the levels, as well as the rest of the game feels like an early build of the game.
The only redeeming quality of the game is the music, which is ok (I mean, it is licensed, or maybe just stolen), that is... when the game decides to play the music, because most of the time it just stops as soon as it starts playing. The rest is beyond abysmal, I can't believe this was actually sold at stores.
From the main meny you can select 6 levels, that's all you get, and when you "finish" those levels the game throws you the intro video and opens the menu expecting you to select a different level, but you can just press escape and go back to the level. The art is all over the place, from neat looking hand drawn steampunk stuff, to pre-rendered goblins. The engine, while it didn't crash on me, is tied to the framerate, so too many cycles will make stuff break, being unable to jump down from the lifts... which the engine doesn't seem be able to put them right to the adjacent sector, so you always have to save a gap, with a chance to fall down. All weapons use the ame ammo pool, and some of them are extremely inneficient, making to ultimately choose the machinegun thing, which takes too long to drop the bigger enemies.

Angst es un shooter en primera persona lanzado para ordemadors con DOS en 1996. En este juego controlas a Werner Mueller, un operador de sistemas del cuartel general de GIC en Ciudad Futura. Una noche, unas fuertes explosiones le despiertan incómodamente de su sueño. Sale afuera para ver qué ha pasado solamente para verse en el medio de una mortífera lucha...
Esto es una pvta desgracia para el gaming, y fácilmente el peor juego mostrado en los "Domingos de Juegos de Mierda" de este canal. Está ahí arriba junto a Nerves of Steel en el marcador de mierdosidad. Este juego tiene 6 "niveles", y lo entrecomillo porque los niveles, así como el resto del juego se sienten como un prototipo del juego.
Lo único redimible que tiene el juego es la música, que está ok (es decir, es licenciada, si no es directamente robada claro es), cuando el juego quiere reproducir la música, porque la mayor parte de las veces se detiene nada más empezar. El resto es abismal, no me puedo creer que esto se vendiese en tiendas.
Desde el menú principal se pueden elegir 6 niveles, y es todo lo que hay, y cuando terminas un nivel, te reproduce el vídeo de la intro y te salta el menú, pretendiento que elijamos un nivel distinto... pero se puede pulsar escape y seguir jugando en el mismo mapa. El arte no tiene sentido, desde cosas ciberpunk dibujadas a mano, a goblins pre-renderizados. El motor, aunque no me cascó, está atado al framerate, así con demasiados ciclos hará que las cosas se rompan, o que no puedas saltar desde los ascensores... que el motor no parecer ser capaz de hacerlos si están adyacentes a otro sector, con lo que siempre tienes saltar un hoyo, con la posibilidad de caer abajo y tener que repetir. Todas las armas usan de la misma munición, y algunas de ella son extremadamente ineficientes, haciéndote volver a la ametralladora, que además tarda mucho en tumbar a los enemigos más duros.
