Finally. After 38 struggling days, I finally completed Doom 64's Lost Levels. Thanks to my 2 day trip to my grandparents I was able to get myself busy and finished up a lot of changes for my GZDoom mod and get this video made. Unless I get really bored, I have no interest in touching upon the fun levels.

I'd say with some more practice and advanced knowledge on what will happen next, it's doable for me to play without saves. Although idk how Kaiser would expect anyone to play the lost levels on the N64 controller and not get made into Romero's bitch. But knowing the folks I'm at a server with, an N64 conversion of the lost levels is bound to happen anyways. Not that I'm saying it's bad but I wouldn't one of them that would master the levels on that baby fork of a controller.
One on-going thing I always struggle with in the end of each map is the lack of shells. So my anxiety would kick in and drive to me question with I should take more risky moves with the chaingun. It chews through my clips but it sure gets the job done.

Afterwards I gave Sigil II a go and unfortunately no video will be made regarding this map pack. For 2 reasons

1. I find this 6th episode not as fun as the first one and I don't think I would enjoy recording a video playing this giving it's mazy nature and my least favorite thing is when the cyberdemon frequently appears before we ever end up facing the final boss. Kinda puts him in a fan-wad territory.

2. Romero currently has the map pack run on GZDoom and I feel this contradicts what made the first Sigil so great. The fact this could run on other ports than just one. Like previous episodes of Doom 1. And that's coming from someone who loves GZDoom. Maybe John wanted to stick to something that gets the level designs done quick and easy. Which I wouldn't blame him. The line and sector commands in Classic Doom for builders are a big contrast to how its described in GZDoom.

Anyways now that I got this pack off my hands, I shall move on to other things for now until I eventually find another game to make a playthrough video on. For now it's back to modding for me.

Difficulty: Watch Me Die!
