Ani plays Quake II: Call of the Machine (Part 6)
0This was my favorite map to play. Mainly for the full reveal of Quake 1's connection to Quake II.
It's refreshing to see a monster that isn't a mutant or a strogg.
But it's not to say the Caverns weren't good. They are. No sewers, all wide and open with lots of room to fight around in and it didn't give me enough trouble. The final section where it mirrors the Cthon level from Q1 was a neat touch. But damn it was hard. Mainly because I had to fight one Shambler and a giant one named Modir.
I guess we end up trapped in the Quake 1 dimension and loose our mind. Speaking of which was me when doing the final level-
