As far as metroidvania's go I think this looks quite good. Combat is decent, but I find that it gets a bit difficult to see between you and the enemy attacks based on the lighting of each attack. The AI for your teammate is okay-ish at best. They sometimes do what they're supposed to, and other times they seem to forget that they're part of the adventure. It definitely plays better than it did last year, so it's cool to see it improve a bit more.
