Anna's Severe Anxiety (How it Manifested in Frozen II)

We tend to write Anna off as the silly, joyful, quirky, princess who has one thing going for her: love and dedication to her sister. Yet, we forget that Elsa wasn't the only one who suffered for all those years. Anna went through her own mental punishment and it's brought to light in Frozen II on a large scale. Anna is forced to grow and mature in-spite of herself. She has to learn that she's not just a happy personality, but has some deep seeded wounds she must contend with. She also had to learn that while it's beautiful that she wants to be with and help others - especially Elsa - she must stand on her own two feet now. And her fears and anxieties are not making that easy.
There's good reason why Anna is one of my favorites!
