This shouldn't come as much of a surprise to any regular viewer of my channel here as we've been collaborating together in our videos and livestreaming for a little over three years now. What IS new, however, is the goals and opportunities forming a group like this will allow us to achieve. Earlier last year we all joined the Rooster Teeth Lets Play family which, aside from putting us in collaboration with the talented folks over at Achievement Hunter, Cowchop, Funhaus, ect has also given us a framework to develop larger and more ambitious gaming projects.
What does this mean for this channel and the future? Functionally, not much for a usual viewer. We're each still uploading our videos as usual on each of our three respective channels. We're not making a new hub channel for the group but rather layering in some more experimental and more produced work in addition to the usual content.
Our long term goal here is to build up Sideshow as a creative production house that hosts a wide array of talented and creative folk looking to experiment and push the limits of what people have come to expect from gaming entertainment.
