Uploaded this video a bit earlier than usual as I do not want to upload any videos one week prior to my final examination so enjoy both opening and ending song of AnoHana. With additional improvisation and extra chorus for this video this is probably the longest video I have arranged in my channel so for with over 3 minutes long. This is probably showing me a sign that I have improved my stamina when playing the piano and that one day will be able to start playing full version of a song (just need to learn few more techniques in order to do so and play it more smoothly & effortless).
You may have also noticed that I started playing the cross finger technique while the melody is playing at the same time although it still needs a lot of work. However, it is the start of improving my piano skills so I am glad I made an effort for this special song that will always have a special place in my heart because of that ending scene of the anime that gave me feelzchair for days. The artwork was basically the summary ending scene of the anime and I still remember those words that brought us to an emotional state when they all said "I Found You". Props to my sister for the beautiful artwork.
This music piece sits under the standard level of my piano arrangement due to the variation melody notes you have to play on your right hand while playing a very consistent pace on your left hand. The original melodies of this song was also very difficult to tackle without affecting the timing of the song and as you can see there are quite a lot of improvisation in this song. However, the chords are quite repetitive so it makes it up for the difficulty of synchronizing the rhythm and melody together. I guess you may have noticed the new technique I included in this song to show how special this song is to me. I am still working towards learning more techniques without me losing motivation and in order to do that it requires patient, effort and passion. Hopefully one day, I will be able to tackle more difficult techniques and manifest it to my own unique way of piano arrangement and express my passion to all of you towards playing the piano. Until then, may the spirit and feeling of music be with you all :)
