Another look at Wave.Video - getting there!
7Taking another look at the streaming studio from Wave.video a few months down the road. Has it improved? What's it like streaming a game? Let's find out.
Takeaways:
-- I'd like to see an option to set YouTube latency (normal, low, ultra low), privacy setting (public, unlisted, private) and other YT options.
-- having placed my camera and resized it I'd like to save this as a custom layout immediately so I can switch between other layouts if needed (and one for each scene)
-- The game play via share screen in this video was not good with significant frame skipping. I think this is because the bitrate, data and framerate is dynamically set - fine with all but still images or talking heads, but with a fast paced game the system doesn't appear to be able to keep up. An option to override that at the highest settings would be wecome.
-- I'd like to see a pricing option for just the streaming studio without video editor and hosting so that it's more competive against competitors such as Melon. I would also like to see the Appsumo life time package make a return now too to help boost take up.
