Ape Escape 2 (サルゲッチュ2) New Game+ Speedrun | 45:54
39New Game+ starts you with all the gadgets allowing for much shorter boss fights (less luck to deal with as a result) and faster routes within stages, even the later ones due to having access to the secret monkeys with the magic punch glove. Having all the gadgets from the start also means no gadget introductions before certain stages.
To unlock New Game+ you have to catch all the monkeys in the game. Once this has been done & you're on the main menu with your All Monkeys save on your memory card, you just need to hold L1 as you select new game & you'll be thrown into the first stage as Spike with all the gadgets.
This run was performed on a backwards compatible NTSC-J PS3.
