Today I am covering the game Voidtrain. Interestingly, this game came out exactly one year ago today. I was going to review it, but then Tears of the Kingdom came out a few days later, so this got brushed to the side... And the weirdest part is that this is STILL in early access. So while it has a few issues, I can appreciate and acknowledge that they are still ironing out some of the bugs.

You play as a conductor / engineer for a pushcart in some parallel void. It's like being Dr. Freeman and Stanford Pines on the railroad. You travel from station to station upgrading yourself, the cart, and your equipment in order to survive.

Now, at the start of the game and seen in this video, they do say how co-op is a factor, but when I did my playing, I hadn't encountered it as of yet. I'm guessing it will be in full swing when the game is launched. You can play solo or up to a full crew of four.

I also make the joke how this game is the precursor to Pacific Drive, but both are entirely different games, and both are enjoyable. We give Voidtrain a solid 9 out of 10.
