Greetings fellow test subjects! Test Subject 1337 here for Aperture Gaming. They make it, we test it, you play it.
On todays review, we are covering Princess Peach Showtime! This game reminds me of some other titles, including but not limited to: the Viewtiful Joe franchise, Yoshi's Story, the Paper Mario franchise, and Super Mario Odyssey. Her Majesty, Princess Peach, is invited out to a show at the Nintendo / Mushroom Kingdom equivalent of Broadway. When she arrives, the evil Grape and her minions, the Sour Bunch, take over the theater complex. Now, Peach and her new friend, Stella, must work together to make sure the show goes on!
As Peach, you become the leading lady for each production, and the costume you have on has unique powers to help you try and find the Magic Sparkles, and complete each show. After you get enough, you then use them to unlock and fight boss battles.
Compared to my previous review, this game is a delightful little romp. It looks good but it is not high on the difficulty curve. Not every game has to be a nail bitter, and this one is just there for the fun.
I give it a 10 out of 10.
