Apex Champions: Hooking it to Skyhook!
0Starting at the small village just South-East of Refinery, we loot out way further South. I already have a kill, so I feel like the squad survived an early fight! Path scans the Ring, and I shoot at a Cargo Bot. Potato sends out a decoy and someone shoots at it, so we know there are still more enemies nearby as we move West to the Epicenter. The Ring pushes us out of Epicenter after looting it for a while, and Path makes a Zipline to help us get in.
As we make our way West we keep looting as we go, until we reach the building at the top of the chokepoint out of Skyhook, when the game narrows down to the top 3 squads! We don't notice however, because I try to pick up some small health, and Path takes them from me, so I offer up all my grenades out of frustration while the announcement is going off, and take the energy ammo that path asks for and I don't give him haha
We keep moving East and I grab a Tripple Take for all that energy ammo I had now! Path spots an enemy behind us, so we head into the tunnel. The other squad must have showed up behind us, because the other 2 squads can be heard fighting outside the tunnel entrance for the right to come in and try to kill us I guess. They don't finish their conflict there however and we all make it into the Ring which is now just Skyhook!
Since it was ending up in Skyhook, we move to the top of the Skyhook itself! Not before looting the other buildings a bit first, where I finally find some small health! I snipe at many enemies from the top of Skyhook, not hitting much, but scaring them around and back into each other. The next Ring takes us off the Skyhook, so we head to the building we saw enemies in on a Zipline Path makes, while keeping an eye on the other building we saw enemies go into.
All 3 of us rush up the stairs together and I enter the middle floor room first and take out an enemy Mirage, who turned out to be alone. Pathfinder heads back down the stairs and kills what is probably 1 member of the last enemy squad to win the game!
