Apex Legends is a free-to-play battle royale-hero shooter game published by Electronic Arts and developed by Respawn Entertainment. It was released in February 2019 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and in March 2021 for Nintendo Switch. Apex Legends Mobile, a mobile version of the game created specifically for touchscreens, has also been announced, with a complete release date of 2022 on Android and iOS. The game is cross-platform compatible.

Before the match, participants establish two- or three-player squads and choose from a pool of pre-designed characters with unique skills known as "Legends." There are two game modes in this game.
