The Apex Legends Eclipse update is out soon, and season 15 will add the brand new Broken Moon map as well as the new Zip Rails, Gifting and Stickers features.
Eclipse is the next big update for Apex Legends, and the upcoming season 15 patch will add a tonne of new features for the hit EA and Respawn game. The biggest new addition coming to Apex Legends in season 15 will be the brand new Broken Moon map, which adds larger scale POIs to help spread out the action and shake-up the traditional flow and feel of a map. One big new feature for Eclipse which will help players traverse Broken Moon is the new Zip Rails system, which will not only let players move around a map more quickly but will help open up a whole range of fresh strategy and gameplay options.
This map - which is slightly larger than World's Edge - along with the Zip Rail will give players more options about where they drop in thanks to the larger POIs.
These more comfortable landing spots will also give players plenty of time to gather loot before starting a match proper.
The larger scale map and POIs will help keep things fresh and avoid the need for a few specific landing points in the map that most players begin a match from and drop in at.
Elsewhere, Zip Rails will let players speedily travel from one POI to another, quickly escape from danger and even opens up possibilities for jousting.
Zip Rails and Broken Moon will be available in Apex Legends as part of the upcoming Eclipse update with season 15 releasing on Tuesday, November 1.
And that's not all with Apex Legends also getting a new Gifting System which will help seasoned players gift items for friends.
This is ideal if you have a friend who is just getting started in Apex Legends and needs a helping hand.
Bundles and comsetic items purchased from the Store can be gifted to friends.
Apex Legends season 15 will also be getting a new Sticker system, which can be equipped on all healing items and helps players express themselves more.
Speaking about the upcoming Broken Moon map, EA said: "Broken Moon is a terraforming project commissioned by the Cleo Recovery Council, as a result of the catastrophic meteor impact that occurred in 2708.
"With the help of the Boreas Science Division, the moon became a habitable environment by 2715.
"To further fund colonisation, the government entered into a contract with the Syndicate to bring the Apex Games to the moon.
"Broken Moon is similar in size to World’s Edge and features a wide array of terrain: both extra-terrestrial and borderline familiar. Locations range from glamorous gardens, to a gigantic terraforming machine, to a filthy wharf."
